We’re partnering with the Proffer Blockchain Hackathon taking place from Nov 10–13! The hackathon is open to participants from anywhere in the world, with optional in-person workshops and hacking sessions taking place at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD). Register here and be eligible for a $5,000 Toshi prize in Ether!
Our goal is to make Toshi a world class developer platform for those wanting to build an open financial system. We believe the most innovative solutions will come out of emerging markets, where there is a big gap in financial inclusion. As such, we’d like to get developers targeting these markets to develop on Toshi, and build bots that make Toshi useful to the average user.
The Proffer Hackathon has a robust agenda and an accomplished group of mentors to help you get up to speed and start hacking right away. Other partners that share in our vision include the Government of India, Microsoft, IBM, Accel Partners, Amazon AWS.
Last but not least, one of Toshi’s Product Managers Siddharth Coelho-Prabhu will be a judge for the hackathon. We’re excited to see what the attendees come up with and hope to work on developing some of these ideas further together.
